Let Them Sing :

Wonder if we are living in a secular state or if its a place of Radicals, 

               
              Are we really free to carry out our fundamental rights when our govt. itself can't express it opinion freely ?
                            

It all started only 3 days back when there was a rock band festival conducted in Jammu & Kashmir, with more than 20 bands fighting with music, but a premature group of 3 girls aged 16 wont eh competition beating all the other bands!!!
No sooner had they won the prize all the critics had come up in a row to protest against their act of singing and playing guitar, drums to be anti Islamic.

Gist of FATWA:
  On Sunday, Bashir-ud-din Farooqi issued a fatwa against three Kashmiri girls for being part of a rock band, saying the women should stop their activities and further advised them to imbibe moral values. 


Chief Minister Omar had tweeted the below things in support of them on Sunday : 

but does Govt run ont Twitter ? @Omar Sir, please understand, you are not  a  normal civilian like us, being a CM of  a state who is much interested in Tweeting rather than governing the state.

FACTS LIST: 

1. Omar who had initially supported them on Twitter, later removed them.
2. Huriyat says they can accept only classical music to be sung but not western as it spoils culture.
3. Huriyat leaders who call singing to be anti islamic, go and visit LeT leaders in pakistan to discuss how to infilter terror elements into kashmir valley.
4. Separatists who are given security in Kashmir to help them from giving their fundamental right of speech, oppose these little children from singing and govt. is finding it hard to stop this and protect the same fundamental right.
5. Ayaz Akbar :  Claims that all these are baseless and he denies the FATWA but further claims to much more stupendous and senseless argument :
"They are free to sing but this singing can only happen in their rooms and also before their family but not infront of strangers, doing so they attracht men, wearing jeans and playing music instruments like drums is not the way a women should grow up. "

Ferangi Abdullah :  Says they are not practising islam and instead spoiling the entire valley atmosphere, but he can't justify statement, why his son / daughter are sent to Europe for higher education.

Writers Take: 

We are living in a secular state where one can practise his/her religion to the extent of their comfortness and one can't force someone if they don't do so.
 If the girls can't sing since its westerns then why do the children of those who are opposing this go to US and Europe to have higher education and live there?
How can a group who visit Pakistan on Indian Visa and meet Hafiz Saed to discuss about bringing back the Brain stormed Kashmiri militants back to India?
Why doesn't the Grand Mufthi who has power to act on these children keeps his mouth shut to giving FATWA agains those terrorists, who rape, kill innocents in Kashmir.
Why doesn't the CM of   J & K arrest these anti social elements who threaten the innocent people ?

Living in India we are first citizens of this sate and later we are a divided community into different religions, if so who are those to give restrictions to some one else's freedom ?

if Huriyat is also house arrested can they accept it ? when they can't accept their house arrest who are they to issue thise nasty things?

Final Word: 

Living in a secular state we are free to do anything of our choice to our individual interest when we intend not to hurt anyone. 
to all those who can't recognize themselves to be Indians first can better restrict themselves to their houses instead of comming out and hurting the liberals. 

To those separatists who claim to keep culture standards may better refrain from being cited by normal humans and better take physic treatment, hope they too can be normal humans like us. 

To the girls who have made a brave and remarkable entry, wish u a very good luck and keep rocking, 

Even if the state govt. is not with you, we all from the country support your effort and we love to hear from you, ............
